Amanda Peck has been writing and performing theater and comedy in New York City for nearly ten years. She graduated from New York University with a BA in English and Creative Writing; while there she co-created, wrote and performed in the live comedy/variety show “Professor Top’s Old-Timey Soul-Crushing Radio Hour” and the sketch troupe Trumpet. She was a founding member of the New York City-based, non-profit theater company, Thirsty Turtle Productions, where she directed, produced and acted in several plays, including Paul Rudnick’s “The Most Fabulous Story Ever Told” and Howard Richardson and William Berney’s “Dark of the Moon.” As an improviser, she has trained at The Peoples Improv Theater and performs weekly with PIT house team Tuscarora Fire Company Picnic. Previous teams include PIT houseteam Mrs. Estherhouse and the indie-improv team Queen of Sharks.
