Denny Dillon studied Improvisation with Viola Spolin, pioneer in the art form and author of “Improvisation for the Theatre” and was a member of The Spolin Players. As a cast member of SNL with Eddie Murphy, Joe Piscopo, & Gilbert Gottfried she worked with Del Close, director of Second City, Chicago. Dillon is a Tony-nominated stage actress who has worked extensively in television, film, commercials and voice-overs. She won a CableACE award on the HBO hit series DREAM ON. Recently she guest-starred on LOUIE in his new season airing May 2014. Dillon has taught Improvisation in NYC to students at Primary Stages Theatre School and Tom Todoroff Acting Conservatory. She has given Master Classes at Syracuse University, Case-Western Reserve, and Vassar College among others. Her professional company IMPROV NATION formed in 2006 has performed in various theatres and venues all over the Hudson Valley where she resides.
