Jeff Scherer studied Writing for TV, Film & Radio at Syracuse University, and has written four screenplays, of which Skeletons was a semi-finalist both at the Austin Film Festival and on Project Greenlight. He and his friends formed the theatrical group Toolbox Productions and produced three plays, two of them at the NY International Fringe Festival. Since getting involved with improv comedy in 2002, Jeff has performed improv and sketch comedy at NYC venues such as the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater, the Magnet and the Peoples Improv Theater, as well as to packed houses all over the country with the touring company of Chicago City Limits. He currently is a member of the P.I.T. house team Someday the Cake and plays bass and mandolin for the improv/storytelling/rock group The BTK Band. He has appeared in several commercials, and is trying to force himself to write a children’s book, a novel and an original series for television.
