Julia Morales is an actress from Houston, Texas. In 2008, she became a PIT student after winning one of three NBC Diversity Scholarships. After completing the required PIT classes, she auditioned for a PIT House Team and has performed with "Senator," "The Whiskey Rebellion" and currently "Someday (The Cake)." She studied Theatre Arts at the University of Houston and graduated from The American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA) in New York and Los Angeles. She has also studied with Massive Improv in Houston and at The UCB Theatre in New York. She has also made regular guest appearances in "The Scene" and "Lucy." In addition to performing, she coaches indie teams and has taught classes in the New York area. Julia is the Founder/Organizer/Director of 10,000 Hours (improv10000hrs.com), a PIT enrichment program designed for improv students interested in practicing their craft through budget-friendly and organized practice groups. The practice sessions are led by PIT House Team members who donate their time to coach the students on a weekly basis. She has been described as being "funny," "adorable," "inspiring", "firey," and "a bad bitch" (that last one is a good thing … she promises!).
