Mike Spence graduated from NYU in May 2012 with degrees in Film & TV and Cinema Studies. As a filmmaker, Mike has made over five films, including the variety show, White Noise. Other filmmaking credits include Funeral Game and Cat and Mouse. Mike has worked on multiple NYU films as a sound designer, and currently works freelance on film and photo shoots around New York. As a performer, Mike has been seen on film and around New York at theaters such as the Upright Citizen’s Brigade, the People’s Improv Theater, the Cherry Orchard Theater, the Richard Shepard Theater, and the Creek. His performance credits include the UCB Spank The Death of Todd Coleman, True Love as part of One Night of Chuckles, and The Crystal Ball. In addition, Mike was employed as the improv coach during the PHTS production of Rehearsal in March of 2009. Mike has also written for New York Press, where his articles and interviews were lauded as being “cool” and “really funny” by Mike’s bosses and anonymous online commenters.
