The play is set on the night of Ridgefield's first annual talent show, a showcase of growing bodies and big dreams. From the highly-choreographed lip-sync duo to the ex-convict janitorial staff member to the happily unmarried assistant principal with an affinity for shapeless dresses, Ridgefield Middle School Talent Nite is a play for anyone who ever thought it couldn't get any better than orange soda and slow-dancing. Created and performed by two people who like themselves more now that they are no longer in middle school.
