Happy Hour!

The jam we've all been waiting for! Happy Hour! is The PIT's answer to all those out there thinking, "I wanna see a free show at 6:00 on Fridays with $3 drinks where I might be randomly picked to jump up onstage to perform without a script." There are four rotating formats with different hosts. So Happy Hour! never falls down and in a crumpled heap in the john, it just stays buzzed and bubbly.

BIG WHITE ANGELS

Michael O'Brien (SNL) and Lyndsay Hailey (iO Chicago) join forces for one night only to become BIG WHITE ANGELS. See BIG WHITE ANGELS do sketches. See BIG WHITE ANGELS do improv. Michael and Lyndsay have performed sketch comedy and improv separately for many years in the following places: Second City, iO Chicago, UCB, Aspen Comedy Festival, The Annoyance Theater, and New York Fringe Festival, and more. They are excited for their first project together, BWA.

Michael O'Brien says BIG WHITE ANGELS is "thrilling." Lyndsay Hailey says "BIG WHITE ANGELS stays fresh; it is as if you are watching scenes that have only been run once before in Chicago, but in a good way." Instead of going on dates we put on shows together. Come out and be our third wheel.

Veal

Veal is a musical improv group that takes the Harold form and mishmashes it with the audience�s suggestion of fictional town. They bring these towns, and their soundtracks, to life for one night only. They have performed their exciting shows at many festivals and theatres, including the Del Close Marathon, New York Musical Improv Festival, and the Boston Improv Festival. After meeting each other the members of Veal soon realized each had a knack for interpreting these magical towns through dance and harmonious singing. You'll be excited about life with Veal's dancing, harmonious singing and of course, their famous jazz hands.

Swords! + The Nathan & Joe Show

Fresh off their huge SketchProv Tournament win, this amazing New York based duo gears up for their run in the new year by throwing down some of the most honest improv comedy in the city.

Swords! is Lucas Kavner and Bradford Jordan.

The Nathan & Joe Show (formerly Project:Projekt) returns to The PIT after a successful run at COMIX NY. Remember the last time you saw their fast-paced, character-based, genre-bending, always funny, two man improvisational show and you were like "Wow, they are way better at this than I am."? Well, they still are.

The Hypotheticals

Blurb: Composed of four improv veterans newish to the New York scene, The Hypotheticals improvise entire one-act plays in a narrative longform style mixing great characters with absurd situations and a self-imposed limit of one dick-joke per show. Endorsed by the AARP, AAA, and ABC Pest and Lawn.

Cast: Caitlin Sweet (Topanga), Jeremy Lamb (Out of Bounds Comedy Festival), Ben Sterling (Start Trekkin'), Lee Eddy (Austin Chronicle's Best Actress in Austin: 2004-2008).
