Improv to Sketch is a single day 2-hour workshop for beginners in acting, sketch writing, improv and/or comedy. Even if you are a novice, you can enhance your current skills! You will be provided a premise by the instructors and learn how to use improve to create a sketch within the group you will be paired to work with. You will then perform that sketch with your group in this workshop taught by guest instructors Fourth Floor.
1:30 – 1:45: Warm-Up Improv activities
1:45 – 2:05: What is a premise? Define and write your own!
2:05 – 2:25: What is a sketch? Define and create ideas for a sketch!
2:25 – 2:40: Break into groups and create sketches. PRACTICE!!!
2:40 – 3:30: Perform/Act Out Sketch
