Andrew R. Butler

ANDREW R. BUTLER writes and performs for the political comedy cabaret Political Subversities at the P.I.T. and for sketch comedy trio Tenured Faculty. He validates the imaginations of children as a performer for the Striking Viking Story Pirates. As a singer-songwriter/theatremaker Andrew performs a character named Rags Parkland who lives and writes folk music in the 23rd century (Ars Nova’s ANT FEST). In this century, Andrew earned his BFA in theatre from NYU where he studied at the Experimental Theatre Wing and made people laugh with sketch-comedy group Hammerkatz NYU.
