CHRIS AURILIO is from Edison, NJ but was born in Chicago when his parents were on a layover to California. By day, Chris works as The PIT’s Director of Classes where he interacts regularly with today’s most talented up and coming comedians. By night, Chris can be found performing with the Harvard’s Sailing Team’s Jen Curran and Clayton Early in The Monster Show. Chris also enjoys sketch comedy writing and performing with his dear, close friends, The Foolhardy Manor, which has performed at The PIT regularly since 2008. He can also be seen online in videos from his PIT tv group Philo’s Folly. Chris is putting his Master’s Degree and teaching experience to use as an Intro to Sketch Writing Instructor at The PIT. Chris has completed improv programs at UCB between 2004-2007 more recently at The PIT, where he also studied sketch and comedy writing extensively with Joe Schiappa. Other accomplishments include creating children’s theater shows such as Robert–the Bear Who Went to the Mall, several original plays and the creation of variety shows with PulpRiot.
