ELIZABETH QUINN is a writer and improviser in New York City. She spent two years as a member of the PIT house team, The Wilhelm. She has studied with teachers from Upright Citizens Brigade, Second City, The Groundlings and The Peoples Improv Theater. She is the co creator/host of Improvised New York, a podcast devoted to interviews and discussions with members of the New York improvisation community. As a member of The Lab Rats, she helped create the feature-length improvised film, Unscrewed, which received accolades at several international film festivals and premiered at the Quad Theater in New York in February 2005.

She won first place in the 2005 Scriptapalooza TV contest for her Arrested Development spec script. Elizabeth continues to write sitcom scripts and other comedic material and worked on the TV show “Bar Karma” on Current TV. Her original sitcom pilot “Most Likely To Succeed” placed in the second round of the 2011 Austin Film Festival Teleplay competition. She is a semi-finalist in the ABC/Disney TV Writing Fellowship for 2012.

Elizabeth continues to perform regularly at the PIT with Lorie Steele as one half of the two-prov team STEELE/QUINN and teaches and coaches improvisation throughout New York City. She is a 2011 INNY nominee for Improvised New York (Best Improv Website) and STEELE/QUINN (Best Comedic Duo). She teaches and coaches in New York City through the 10,000 hours program and at Steel City Improv Theater in Pittsburgh, PA.
