James Coker

James is an actor, writer, and comedian living in New York City. He is originally from Texas and has been studying improv and sketch writing since fall 2008. You can catch him performing at The PIT with Monday night team 1-800-LONDON and all around the city with improv/sketch team Casual Sex Offenders (CSO). In 2011, the FOX-NYTVF Comedy Script Competition selected James as a finalist for his pilot Under The Radar, which he wrote with Nick Bernardone (Hot Garbage Video, 30 Rock).

While in New York, James has also studied improv and sketch at Upright Citizens Brigade and Magnet Theater. He continues to write and shoot videos with CSO and other collaborators, many of which can be found at www.jamescoker.tumblr.com. He has also appeared on NBC’s 30 Rock twice.
