JON PAUL BUCHMEYER is a performer, writer and director, testing out his vocal chords regularly with musical improv group The Shady Bunch. He studied improv at The PIT and University of Texas-Austin where he was a founding member of the Collective Comedy Conspiracy. He toured the world film festival circuit as the writer-director of the cult indie comedy “GayTV: The Movie.” In addition to being a travel and food journalist, he was a finalist for the Next Generation Indie Book Award for his humorous memoir “Alphabet City: My So-Called Sitcom Life” about being the gay Mary Tyler Moore.
