Matthew Love

MATTHEW LOVE has been performing improv since high school; since then he’s extensively studied improv theory and trained with the PIT, UCB, iO, Annoyance and Second City teachers including Michael Gellman, Martin deMaat, Matt Donnelly, Ptolemy Slocum, Ian Roberts, Michael Delaney and scads more. He started a group in college that played together for 10 years, which at various times featured PIT denizens Jen Nails and Kristen Schaal. He is currently the Books editor and a contributing writer at Time Out New York, and has written extensively about comedy, theater and New York culture for the Onion AV Club and The Village Voice.
