Michael Newman

Michael Newman is an actor, improviser, and writer. Currently, he performs with the PIT improv house team, The Complete First Season, which performs every Monday night. He also performs on the eGarage improv house team Anorexic Bear as well as several indie improv teams including HAM, Newman & Newman, and Mr. Laserhands. He has performed with the former PIT house improv team Mrs. Estherhouse, which performed at the improv festivals in Toronto, Philadelphia, Boston, and Providence. He has acted in, written, and directed countless short films and video sketches. He has written essays that have appeared on Salon.com and various other widely-read blogs. He graduated from NYU with a BFA in theater.
