Nannette Deasy

NANNETTE DEASY is very happy to be a member of the PITtv sketch team Simply Elegant. A performer and writer, she has studied sketch writing at The Peoples Improv Theater and at The Upright Citizens Brigade, and improv at the PIT, UCB, Gotham City Improv and Chicago City Limits.  She has been a member of numerous comedy groups, including the long-running short-form show Off the Top of Our Heads (GCI) and as the former Artistic Director of The Red Tie Mafia, a 40+ member company that performed twice weekly in Manhattan. She is currently the Artistic Director of IRTE (the Improvisational Repertory Theatre Ensemble).  Nannette is also a member of Actors Equity Association and has performed professionally at theatres including The Public, New York Theatre Workshop, LaMama Etc., and Ensemble Studio Theatre, among others.
