Paul Barker

PAUL BARKER started studying long-form improv in 2007 at the UCB. Since then, he has performed in wide range of improv ensembles, including the Oxford Imps, Raggedy Band: an Improvised Musical, Gumshoe, and For One Night Only: an Improvised Play. He currently performs with the Friday Night Sh*w and :Kiss*Punch*Poem: at the Magnet Theater. He also writes and performs for the sketch team Dumbkowsky. When he’s not performing, Paul teaches improv and playmaking at Cristo Rey New York High School and through the nonprofit Opening Act, which puts free theater programs in public schools. He loves Philip Larkin and beer and has his dad’s sense of humor.
