GEOFF GRIMWOOD has studied and performed improv in New York and Chicago since 2002. A Chicago native, Geoff trained at iO (formerly ImprovOlympic) and performed there for two years on the house teams Dystopia 10, Children of God, and Switchgrass, as well as the independent show Triple Play. Geoff was also a longtime member of the independent company pH Productions, where he performed weekly in the improv shows “pHrenzy” & “pHamily,” and the sketch show “What’s Your Problem, Owl?” He was also a longtime member of Dirty South Improv’s “The Beatbox,” which played in theaters across the city and festivals nationwide, including Canada. In New York, Geoff has studied acting at William Esper Studio, and improv at UCB and the PIT, where he has been a proud member of the house teams Fancy Dragon and Punch, as well as a co-founder of the independent group Bandolero. Geoff enjoys coaching various house and independent improv teams, as much as he can squeeze in after his son, Otto, goes to bed.
