SCOTT ECKERT has been improvising since 1999 and currently performs every Wednesday at The PIT with The Faculty and Big Black Car (Three-time ECNY Award Nominee for Best Improv Group, 2005 winner, 2007 D.C. Comedy Festival Selection, and 2006 Chicago Improv Festival Selection). Scott also appears with The PIT’s Team Olympus. In addition to improvising, Scott co-wrote and performed seven two-person shows with Ellie Kemper and two sketch shows with “As Sparks Fly Upwards.” He has appeared in 11 original plays by the Old Kent Road Theater and has studied improv in New York and Chicago with instructors including Ali Farahnakian, Charna Halpern, Susan Messing and Miles Stroth). At Princeton University, Scott wrote his senior thesis on the theory and history of American improvisation, and he also directed the improv group Quipfire!
