Shannon Connolly

SHANNON CONNOLLY started her improv career at UMASS Amherst with Mission:IMPROVable, known to the college party animals as Diesel. Her three years spent there, she was able to train in Chicago with Joe Bill, Liz Allen, Mark Sutton, Susan Messing, and TJ Jagodowski at Improv Olympic and the Annoyance Theater.   Upon returning to Boston, Shannon started performing with the Tribe Theater in 2005. Since then she founded and directed short form group Flaming Awesome, performed with the NXT cast at the Improv Asylum, and became a company cast member of Friday Night Face Off and Maxitor! at ImprovBoston, before moving into the Mainstage.  Shannon also tours with femme fatal group 3 Hole Punch, all alumni of UMASS Amherst’s Mission:Improvable. Shannon can most notably be described as a cat lady.
