STEPHEN SOROKA has been performing improv and sketch comedy in New York City since 2006. He is a member of the two person sketch group, BoF (best of friends).  With BoF, Steve has performed at SketchfestNYC, Chicago Sketchfest, Toronto Sketchfest and the 2010 New York Comedy Festival’s, “Best of NY Sketch”. BoF was nominated as “Best Sketch Comedy Group,” at the 2009 and 2010 ECNY Awards.

Steve is a part of the Peoples Improv Theater house team Someday the Cake.  Previously has been a member of PIT house teams The Baldwins, Senator, and Olympus. He performs two person improv with Jen+Steve, is an actor on UCB Maude Team Dweeb, and was a contributing writer for The Onion.  He also hosts a popular daily web series, Steve Zings the Movies.

Steve teaches Level 1 Improv at the PIT.

Aside from comedy, Steve is a young leader of NYC’s green movement.
