The PIT

Suni Reyes

SUNI REYES aka Sunilda hails from San Juan, Puerto Rico. She has an accent. She joined the PIT community during her “Do it yourself” class with Jen Nails, where she got to write her one woman show “Hardware Dreams”(true stories about growing up poor with her family of 6 human beings, 4 dogs and an aunt in the slums of Santurce, P.R., while dreaming of become an artist).  “Hardware Dreams” had a very succesful run at the Theatre for the New City in 2010, and has been performed in various festivals in NY.
This multitalented performer who started her career as a dancer, has expanded her horizons into theatre,improv and stand up, performing at renowned venues like: Metropolitan Opera House,The Triad Theatre, Carolines on Broadway, New World Stages, and Nuyorican Poets among others.  In 2009 she was one of the recipients of the”Improv for Diversity” Scholarship offered by the PIT and NBC, and thanks to this amazing opportunity she was able to complete her Improv training.  Just two days after completing her training, she attended the PIT house team auditions, and now you can see her performing Improv every Monday at 9:00pm!  Check out my website www.sunireyes.weebly.com
