YANG MILLER was born in a barn in West Virgina and spent his formative years gathering wood and experience in the foothills of Appalachia. As a youngster Yang was bitten by a copperhead snake and almost died, later he was bitten by improv comedy and started living.  Yang is a member of Big Black Car, and is co-creator of the monthly show “Never Have I(mprov) Ever”.  Over the past 6 years he has taught, performed, and hosted extensively at the PIT and around NYC. Yang is also an accomplished filmmaker with a B.S. in Film from CUNY, having won awards at the New York Television Festival (NYTVF) for the series “Video Shmideo”, and at the Athens International Film Festival for his documentary “A Midwestern Morning”. Look for Yang in the upcoming film, “Don Peyote.”  Yang has been in New York City for almost 15 years, bringing a balance of down home friendliness and big city edge to everything he does.
