From the streets of New York City, three performers weave a series of sketches, blended into one another without transitions; connecting into a meandering trail of comedy. Battle Meat is Ian McCormick, Jon Macomber and Vin Hamilton | Web site AND The Nerdologues is a sketch comedy show created by a group of comedians that have trained and performed at iO and Second City. The Nerdologues explore nerd and pop culture through hilarious sketches and personal stories. Using sketch and solo material, the show creates an entertaining experience centered around true stories from nerds’ lives and what it's like to live as a nerd (ie. lots of comic book and gaming humor). This show was created by nerds for nerds. Described by The Chicago Tribune as "inspired," "self aware" and "self-deprecating," the Trib also says the show "earns its title." The Nerdologues have performed at San Francisco Sketchfest, Chicago Sketchfest, Milwaukee Comedy Festival, Second City’s Donny’s Skybox, iO Chicago, C2E2, and the New York City Comic Con. Nerdologues ask the important questions like: "Why don't the doors on the Death Star fail open?" That's an egregious engineering error.
