      Musical House Teams Come and see Broadway magic happen right before your very eyes! Based only on a suggestion from the audience, our PIT musical house teams will create a memorable improvised musical that will titillate the senses! Never again spend hours in rush lottery lines for religious based/ superhero centered shows on and near 42nd street. Every week at the PIT, each team presents a brand new musical that'll make you bust out laughing, tear up crying and/or cheer like soccer hooligan. Hot Diner is Rich Hollman, Tom Lisi, Stephanie Griffith, Julie Katz, Jeff Sherer, Ruby Marez and Ross Taylor. and THEM is Geoff Grimwood, Jessica Morgan, Zoe Farmingdale, Jen Sanders, Bradford Jordan, Roman Pietrs and Michael Lutton.

    June 21st (One-Day Workshop)

    Being in your head has a terrible reputation in improv circles. This workshop is all about being in your head at the top of the scene (a good thing) and then using the information to truly play out of your head for the remainder. One exercise, one technique. Adding pattern recognition to your bag of improv tricks will help you find the comedy faster no matter the form.

    June 25th (One-Night Workshop)

    The "Anatomy of a 1-Liner: Writing Monologue and Roast Jokes" interactive seminar teaches students the various categories and structures of jokes used in monologues and roasts. Using this organized approach, students will participate in exercises that enable them to improve their current jokes and to write new ones from the latest daily newspaper.

This class will not only make you a character connoisseur, but help you contextualize them for the stage, screen and even auditions.
