SCOTT ECKERT has been improvising since 1999 and currently performs weekly at The PIT: Wednesdays with The Faculty and Saturdays with Big Black Car (Four-Time ECNY Award Nominee & 2005 ECNY Best Improv Group; 2006 Chicago Improv Festival Selection; 2007 D.C. Comedy Festival Selection). In addition to improvising, Scott is the creator of the ongoing comedy webseries Sandy Kenyon Reviews The World. He also co-wrote and performed seven two-person shows with Ellie Kemper and has appeared in twelve original plays by the Old Kent Road Theater. Scott studied improv in New York and Chicago (Ali Farahnakian, Charna Halpern, Susan Messing, Miles Stroth) and has been teaching at the PIT since 2006. In 2010, he won The PIT’s Best Instructor Award. Scott wrote his senior thesis on the theory and history of American improvisation at Princeton University, where he also directed the improv group Quipfire!.
