J. W. Crump is a Southern-born writer and comedian who loves every Mountain Dew flavor. From 2014-2016 he produced Sktch Shw, a show written, rehearsed, and performed in a single day. Since 2013, he has hosted Gas Station Horror, one of the longest-running indie improv shows in New York. GSH has been sponsored by Sony Pictures and is the subject of an NYU documentary. His award-winning web series, “Kylie Jenner’s Beauty Tips,” garnered over one million views on Facebook. In 2015, he was a featured performer in the CMT Southern Comedy Showcase, and then in 2016, he participated in NBC’s Scene Showcase, showcasing his work for industry in both LA and NY. He is the Director of the comedy program at Unarthodox, having taught workshops to everyone from teachers to the heads of Vogue Magazine. Last year, he debuted his sold out one-man show “JW TV” featuring his love for television theme songs and anime transformation sequences.
