Jason Scott Quinn

Jason Scott Quinn has been studying and performing improv since 2001. He has studied with Ali Farahnakian , Armando Diaz, Kevin Mullaney, Billy Merritt, and Rachel Hamilton to name a few (and short-change many). Jason has performed improv at DSI Comedy Theater (MISTER DIPLOMAT), Magnet Theater (LEGEND, Pumpkin), Comedysportz NYC, & UCB Theatre (The Documentary). At The PIT, Jason has played with musical & non-musical house teams, Frogmen, East Side Orphan Riot, Without Provocation, Mirkwood and Monsters. Jason currently performs on Monday nights with his improv house team, The Murder Police and on select Tuesday nights with his sketch house team, RUN-DMV. Jason is the producer of and performs in the close quarters improv show “Meanwhile…” and can be seen in many other shows at The PIT. Jason has performed as an actor in the New York & Regional Theatre (La Mama E.T.C., Triad Stage, Florida Rep, American Stage, Mill Mountain), Film/TV (The Bros., One Tree Hill), and in numerous commercials performing with such celebrities as Jeff Gordon, Jake Delhomme, and the Travelocity Roaming Gnome. Jason has taught acting and/or improvisation at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro, Bucks County Community College, Comedysportz NYC, DSI Comedy Theater, Florida Studio Theatre, and American Stage. He has coached improv groups and taught workshops in New York, North Carolina, and Florida. Jason is a graduate of The University of South Florida, The Circle in the Square Theatre School, and holds an MFA in Acting from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
