JULIE SHARBUTT: Julie Sharbutt is an actor, writer, director. BA from Vanderbilt University, MFA in Acting from NYU. At The PIT she has performed on the house teams Coyote, Grounds for Divorce, and Birds, as well as The Scene, People Improvising, and Electoral Dysfunction. Other improv shows include Gravid Water (UCB, San Francisco Sketchfest) and her one woman improv show Only Child (PIT, UCB, NCCAF, IO West). Original sketch and solo shows include The Goods Are Odd (UCBT/NY International Fringe Festival), Seriously Extremely Important (UCB), Charity, and From Little Cicily (NYU Freeplay/Studio Tisch) and others.
THEATER: World premiere of Greg Kotis's Give The People What They Want (PIT), Twelfth Night (The Public Theater), Communicating Doors (Alley Theater), and well as work at NYTW, Red Bull, Young Playwrights, 52nd Street Project, Naked Angels, Williamstown Theater Festival, Georgia Shakespeare Festival, and Portland Stage.
FILM: The Weekend, Maladies, The Last Day of August, True Story.
TV credits include a recurring role on The Good Wife, Person of Interest, and an appearance on The Colbert Report, Late Night with Seth Meyers.
Julie is a voice in Rockstar Games' Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare and she has appeared in a number of commercials. Her feature film debut as a writer and director, Moved, was distributed by The Orchard and is avaiable now on iTune and Amazon (www.MovedFilm.com). Her co-written female buddy comedy feature Smart Girls is currently in development.
