Michael Bird

Bird has been performing improv comedy since 2004, getting his start in the longform scene of Austin, TX and directing the UT Austin college troupe. After college, Bird was a performer and teacher at the Washington Improv Theater in Washington D.C. and had a stint in Chicago to train at the Second City, iO, and Annoyance. Now based in NYC where he’s trained at UCB, the Magnet, and the PIT, he is a proud member of PIT House Team “Lettermen.” You can also catch him performing improvised hip hop with Off Top and rocking his solo improv show, “Bird and Friends – Cosmic Unity.” “Bird and Friends” has been featured in improv festivals across the U.S. and world including India, Montreal, and the Philippines.
