Niccolo Aeed is a writer and director based in New York. He is half the comedy duo Marina & Nicco, whose work has been featured on Comedy Central, Funny or Die, The New Yorker's Shorts and Murmurs among many others. With Marina & Nicco he co-wrote and directed the plays Room 4, which was a New York Times Critic Pick, as well as Unpacking: A Ghost Story Told in the Dark (HERE) and the comedy/mystery podcast series MURDER! They are also developing the series MatchWipe for BRICTV. Outside of Marina & Nicco, Nicco writes for Passport Control with Mehdi Barakchian at the PIT and wrote for The Livia Scott Sketch Program at the UCB. He has directed numerous plays including Abraham's Daughter's (NYIFF '10), The ToyMaker (West VIllage Musical Theater Festival), W.R.E.X. (NYITF '13) Martha Cipolla for President (PIT) and he wrote and directed the play No King in Israel (Hudson Guild Theater) and the short film How People Die.
