About the show
Almost Therapy, with hosts Corinne Britti and Katherine Freel, is a comedy variety show featuring a live Q&A with a mental health professional. Each month, a special guest in the field of mental healing shares their wisdom about your brain while people in the field of entertainment distract you with hilarity and spectacle.
Corinne Britti is an actor, writer, comedian, and producer who’s done everything from Shakespeare to immersive theatre to improv to film. She’s been in the Fringe Festival, has appeared in and produced films that have premiered at many festivals, including the Tribeca and New Haven International Film Festivals. She also started playing the ukulele like a month ago to compete with Katherine. She’s a UCB-trained improviser and a stand-up constantly trying to justify her BFA from Tisch.
Katherine Freel is an actor, comedian, and folk musician. A working actor, Katherine has performed in classical theater, new plays, and films. As a comedian, Katherine’s trained at The PIT and UCB. She regularly performs stand up comedy at venues throughout the city and has been featured in videos for Conde Nast and Women’s Health. She’s from Texas and talks about that a lot.
