About the show
“Eulogy For An Aging Book Guy” is Tim Eberle’s latest meditation on identity confusions, valedictory addresses, and what it really means when you find yourself screaming at a stranger in a Sarasota, Florida parking lot. From the writer and performer behind “I Am Not A Man: A One Sort-of-Man Show” and “I Am Still Not a Man”, Eberle’s latest solo show features comedic monologues and award-winning rhymes which have been featured in McSweeney’s, Witness Magazine, Pembroke Magazine, DNAInfo, and the Santa Fe Literary review (among others). Part linguistic gymnastics, part comedic introspection, (and part the graduation address that he wished he had delivered given the the benefit of ten years of hindsight…) “Eulogy For An Aging Book Guy” is a literary twist on the one-man show format for the young and the aging alike.
