March Madness Improv Tournament:

A knockout-style improv competition.

SOLOCOMNYC:

A festival dedicated to solo performances.

SolocomNYC’24 will run April 18th-21st.

Indie-pendence Fest:

A celebration of independent improv teams.

Indie Fest will run July 3rd & 4th.

Sketchfest:

A 4-day festival dedicated to sketch comedy performance and writing.

Sketchfest 2024 will run October 17th-20th.

March Madness Header

LET THE IMPROV MADNESS BEGIN!

Over the course of 4 weeks 32 improv teams have competed for 1 of 16 bracket slots. Now, March 11th-16th watch those 16 teams battle it out over five days to see who will become the March Madness Improv Champion. The winning team will receive a 3-month residency at The PIT, a cash prize, and eternal glory!

The Peoples Improv Theater proudly announces the 10TH ANNUAL SOLOCOM!

SolocomNYC has launched over 400 new solo comedies that have gone on to longer runs, tours and festivals around the world (including the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.)

SolocomNYC is a festival of new solo work. All shows presented are 75% – 100% new material, and are created specifically for the festival. SOLOCOM’s goal is to push artists to create a show that is meaningful, personal and to follow the fear.
