About the class

This class incorporates scenework, movement-based and group exercises to explore the primary fundamentals of improvisation, making you more confident, trusting and graceful on stage. Learn how to say “yes, and…,” make positive choices, initiate and commit to scenes, heighten, use tag-outs and walk-ons, and deliver real-life monologues.

The PIT’s Introduction to Improv class emphasizes creating a rich environment for your scenes, committing to your decisions and your scene partner and beginning with the body as inspiration. There will be a final graduation performance at the PIT for friends, family, and others.

Nate Foster

Nate Foster studied acting at Adelphi University and has been a PIT House Team performer since 2012. He also performs regularly in NYC and around the country as a stand up comedian.
