This class incorporates scenework, movement-based and group exercises to explore the primary fundamentals of improvisation, making you more confident, trusting and graceful on stage. Learn how to say “yes, and…,” make positive choices, initiate and commit to scenes, heighten, use tag-outs and walk-ons, and deliver real-life monologues.
The PIT’s Introduction to Improv class emphasizes creating a rich environment for your scenes, committing to your decisions and your scene partner and beginning with the body as inspiration. There will be a final graduation performance at the PIT for friends, family, and others.

I am a born and raised New Yorker, who has studied improv at the PIT as well as UCB.
I can be seen around the city with my two prov team NickArrett or indie team Han Shot First. I can also be seen regularly at the PIT with Shark Dance improv
After my wife and kids, my 3 favorite things are Star Wars, Disney, and Danny McBride in that order. I am super psyched to be at the PIT Mondays at 9pm with The Murder Police making stuff up to make people laugh
