As creators living in a short-attention-span world, the content we create must arouse in a minute or less, or risk disappearing into cyber-oblivion. In this course, learn how to shoot, edit and market 60-90 second micro-documentaries perfect for Instagram, that are visual, visceral, and that tell a story. Instead of trying to compete with all the social media personalities out there, first focus on creating stories that are fun to shoot, that inspire you, and that help others along their creative paths – then you’ll quickly start attracting all the right people and opportunities you need to be successful.

-What makes a good micro-doc…-How to tell a story in under 60 seconds…
-Shots that grab attention…-Using your iPhone camera and editing in iMovie…
-The one piece of equipment you need aside from your phone…and much more!
Also, in the final class, each student will participate in a micro-doc festival with judges and a grand prize winner.
*Gregor prefers students enrolling in his class to own/use Apple products (i.e. iPhone/iMac/iMovie), however students with non-Apple-products (i.e. Samsung/PC) are of course still encouraged to enroll.
