About the class
Want to turn your improv show into a musical? We can show you how! Intro to Musical Improv requires no musical training. Together we will find your voice and help you find the confidence to use it in song! This class exploratory introduction to musical improvisation. Over six sessions you will work on the basic mechanics of songwriting; melody, dynamics, rhyme and song structure. The class will use the power of solid improv fundamentals to help you heighten the stakes of your scene-work and turn your improv scene into a musical number!

Daniel Tepper is an actor, musician, improviser, and chocolate lover living in New York City! Besides performing each week with Vern, Daniel does musical improv across the country with the touring show Broadway’s Next H!T Musical, and is the co-creator/co-performer of the two person musical improv show What Town? The Musical. Favorite acting credits include shows at the Atlantic Theater Company, NYC Fringe Festival Encores Series, Williamstown Theater Festival, and Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
