Building on the musical fundamentals learned in Level 1, Level 2 dives deeper into technique and structure to help you turn your scenes and songs into a musical! You’ll work on melody and style as well as structure and song-type. Exercises will focus on emotional commitment and heightening the stakes of a scene to help you find your best voice to start a solid and interesting song. With continued work on movement and teamwork, this class will help you develop the skills you need to get a standing ovation at the end of each number. You don’t have to be a great singer to be a great musical improvisor, come one, come all! Pre-req: Musical Improv Level 1 (or equivalent)
