NYC SKETCHFEST’24 – GRACE AND THE GANG/PUBLIC BREAKUP

The 10TH ANNUAL NYC SKETCHFEST’24 is New York City’s premier sketch comedy festival, and one of the nation’s largest, runs Thursday, October 17th – Sunday, October 20th.

GRACE AND THE GANG

Grace and the Gang is the brain-child of Grace Fennell, an award-winning actor, improvisor, and writer currently based in DC. Grace and the Gang’s comedy is a mix of absurdism, clowning, physical comedy, and dark humor. Join Grace and her pals on this comedy adventure!

PUBLIC BREAKUP

Public Breakup is like if The Breakfast Club characters became best friends and performed sketch shows together. The stoners, the homecoming queen, the quirky nerd, a jock, and even that one teacher (if he were maybe a little more chill). An unlikely combination of misfits, Public Breakup is known for sweetly misguided characters who just can’t let it go, music and tightly choreographed dance numbers, and exploring the dumbest possible realities. We love to drag you down the rabbit hole.

We’re primarily game and premise based, but aren’t afraid of big characters; when appropriate, we utilize video elements within a stage sketch to augment and expand the world, or tag a sketch with a video epilogue just when you thought we were done to squeeze every laugh out of a premise.

NYC SKETCHFEST’24 aims to showcase both local and national sketch teams, spanning from established favorites to emerging groups, fostering a collective reunion of sketch brilliance. Programming will include DIGITAL SKETCH HOURS, the 24 HOUR SKETCH SHOW and more! All are welcome to submit!
