This is an all-new drop-in class specifically designed for all our Sketch Comedy Writers! This drop-in is open to all writers from novice to professional. Bring a pitch, half-written sketch, or completed sketch! These two hours will immerse you into the writer’s room atmosphere. Receive encouraging and constructive feedback, network with other writers, and allow the camaraderie to take you on a journey to the land of plentiful in idea generation.

As of March 2023, we ask that students reach out to info@thepit-nyc.com no less than 24 hours before a Drop-In Class for which they have registered but cannot attend. Credits cannot be guaranteed. Please make reservations at your own discretion. Our classes and jams are great additions to Drop-In Classes.

Andrea Romano is a comedy writer in New York City. She has written and produced content at a number of media outlets like Travel + Leisure, Bustle, Mashable, Cracked, USA Today, Little Old Lady Comedy, Oregano.com, and more.

A former student of both UCB and the People’s Improv Theater, Andrea has written and performed on shows such as Sketch Cram!, Old School Sketch Show, This Live Show, and Group Kid, as well as being a former house team player on Steve’s Hard Milk and team director for Scoot Scoot on Super Sketch Tuesday.
