This is A Message for Ted – OONA HIGGINS
This is A Message for Ted is a comedic coming of age memoir about Oona’s first cell phone, and the strange calls that followed: Mark from the attorneys office, someone with an important message about an automobile service contract and the dentist reconfirming for tomorrow’s appointment… They were all meant to go to someone named Ted Campbell, the man who used to have Oona‘s phone number. Oona makes it her mission to figure out just who Ted Campbell was, and discovers more about herself than she was expecting.
The Healing Art of Folk Porn – SHARON FOGARTY
Original songs encapsulate love, depression and happiness. Guaranteed to lift your spirits. Not recommended for kids under 15.
Sergeant People Please – AUDREY SHAPIRO
What happens when a people pleaser leads an army into battle? A lot of I’m sorrys and double checking! Whether our sergeant is trying too hard to be liked by his soldiers, awkwardly tiptoeing around his superiors, or just trying to read his Brene Brown, his fear of conflict creates chaos at every turn.
Presented (Unofficially) by the New Zealand & Australia Tourism Boards – SHAWN WICKENS
Casual Stoner, Published Author and Comedian Shawn Wickens details his solo adventure to the NZ Fringe and Adelaide Fringe Festivals in Feb/Mar 2025. The working vacation marks his first time visiting the Southern Hemisphere. He went there with his solo show SECRET TIME TRAVEL MEETING, which debuted at SoloCom ’23 (under the previous title TIME MACHINE BLUEPRINTS: THE SHOW). That performance is about Time Travel. But this is a different show. This one is a show about just regular travel… but to New Zealand and Australia. He won’t be talking about the Future. He’ll be sharing stories about a trip he made in the Past. If that makes sense. PLEASE NOTE: At the time of this writing, Wickens has yet to make this trip. But he will.
On the Existence of God – NOAH FITZER
Noah Fitzer always struggled to resolve the dissonance between their distinctive personal philosophy and their desire for ubiquitous approval. Growing up in an atheist-Jewish household within the Evangelical South, Noah feared they would be an outsider their whole life. “On the Existence of God” is a humorous and compassionate examination into human spirituality, exploring identity, conformity, idolization, and attachment, all through the lens of someone who is still just as lost as they were in adolescence.
