STRIP CLUB – Celebrating 75 Years of PEANUTS

2025 marks the 75th Anniversary of Charles M. Sculz’s comic strip classic PEANUTS, referred to by pop culture scholar Robert Thompson as “…arguably the longest story told by a single artist in human history.”  STRIP CLUB is a once-a-month gathering of adults who appreciate the strip’s wit and wisdom from its 1960’s golden age. You’ll have 5 minutes to tell a personal story related to a preselected strip or series of strips pertaining to things like losing a baseball game, having your kite being eaten by a tree, losing the school spelling bee, or getting a rock in your trick or treat bag. This isn’t “Happiness is…” but “Oh good grief!” You get the idea.  Don’t be a blockhead, come join the fun!  All the cool kids will be there.
