Longtime improviser and Pitizen, Kevin Laibson, directs a savage band of improvisers through a once-ever little show. Maybe a couple of 'em. We'll see what happens. Some of it will be funny. It's a live, on-your-feet study of the cultural and extraordinarily human resonance of improvisational theater. 6 people make a play, 1 person pushes them through it. It's a show. It's a lesson. It's a mess. SIDECOACH was created for an experimental theater festival under the auspices of examining an extreme form of Brecht's alienation technique. We're still not sure if it does what it sets out to do, but we've decided we like doing it. It's about you, because we're all the same.
