7:00PM $5	Boys Castaways' Adventure Comedy The most rambunctious improv group that ever lived is taking you on a comedy treasure hunt. Join Matt Fried, Chris O'Neil, and Todd Rocheford on the funniest improvised adventures into black forests, pirate's coves, and old-school sorority houses that you've ever seen. Adventure comedy, ho!

8:00PM $5	Comic Book Club Iron your capes, unplug the Bat Signal and set your decoder rings on awesome: the Comic Book Club is in session! The Comic Book Club is a weekly comic book talk show featuring the best comedians in New York talking shop with industry professionals from all corners of the comic book world. Hosted by Justin Tyler, Pete LePage, and Alex Zalben. The show is sponsored in part by Midtown Comics!

9:30PM $5	Writers Room You ever wonder who makes them folks on the picture radio and computer web so funny? Writers. Mike Drucker and Jon Clarke host big important writers performing stand-up and sketch comedy. Featuring DC Pierson (Derrick), Donald Glover (30 Rock), Colin Jost (SNL), and a sketch by Drink At Work.

11:00PM FREE	BRING IT! Randy Pearlstein hosts this stand up comedy open mic every Tuesday at 11pm. Sign up and you can be a part of the show! Each week, Randy and his special guests will be joined by 10 additional acts whose names will be drawn from the golden bowl of destiny. Win "joke of the night" and you are guaranteed a slot on the following Tuesday. This show is free for all audiences.

Level 2: Improv with Pat Shay

This class will help you create great scenes that engage the audience. Students will learn and practice techniques for starting scenes, enhancing and enriching scenes, finding yourself when you feel lost, and creating characters that are completely unique. Check it out!

Practice Improv For Free
The PIT is the only theater in town that gives students opportunities to practice improv in front of an audience several times a week. Students are strongly encouraged to participate in our "jams": Improdome (Wednesdays at 11pm), Bring It! (Tuesdays at 11pm), New Team Lunacy (Thursdays at 11pm) or Happy Hour (Fridays at 6pm).
Free Shows
Students can see any show at The PIT for FREE during the duration of their class (as long as seats are available)
Internships/Work Study Available
Students have the option of applying for an internship here at the PIT. In exchange, you can take an Improv class for $50!
Referrals
If you refer a new student, you will receive $50 off your next class, or $30 in cash! (Valid on Improv classes only. Not valid for electives or writing classes.)

Sara Benincasa Rocks the PIT with The Gossip Girl Summit: Sara Benincasa just rocked the PIT with The Ultimate Gossip Girl Summit Part Deux! Joined by her usual panel of Gossip Girl enthusiasts and comedians, Benincasa also welcomed some amazing special guests including series author, Cecily von Ziegesar and actress Zuzanna Szadkowski, who plays the Waldorf family maid, Dorota, on the show. Congratulations Audience of Two for Winning SketchProv: 16 teams competed to become the SketchProv 2008 champion, but only one team could be THE WINNER! Congratulations to Audience of Two for taking the prize money and all the glory. Performers Ben Masten and Sam Dingman were declared the winner by a panel of esteemed judges including comedy producer Kirsten Ames, casting director Jodi Collins, Village Voice editor Angela Ashman, amNY editor Emily Hulme, and Daily Show creator Lizz Winstead. PIT Faculty Members Win Emmy Awards: Congratulations to PIT Faculty Members Tom Purcell and J.R. Havlan for winning Primetime Emmy awards for their writing on The Colbert Report and The Daily Show (respectively). Great job, guys!
