At The PIT, we have a core Acting curriculum consisting of Levels 1, 2, & 3. We are also excited to offer our 4 week long Joy of Acting classes!
*NOTE: For Level 2 & 3, you MUST write in the “CHECKOUT COMMENTS” the dates you took the required prerequisites and who your instructor was. If you fail to meet the prerequisites for this course and continue to register anyway, we will have to transfer you out and add the balance as class credit, to be used for other classes.*
Acting classes that are not level based fall under our elective classes. Elective classes are available to students in any stage of their acting journey unless otherwise noted in the class description. Some Elective classes require a certain completion of our core curriculum.
In this class, students will be tasked with more complex and demanding material (both dramatic and comedic) that will stretch their acting muscles in an exciting new way.
No pressure Acting! Dip your toe into the joyous pool of acting- 0% fear, 100% fun.
In this class, we will explore character objectives, fears and desires, emotional commitment, and much more. Think of this as an acting class you don’t have to prep a monologue or scene for.
Over the 6 weeks, you will be using improv exercises and tools that are intended to strengthen yourself as an actor.
