Bipolar Badass

Bipolar Badass is a one-woman show by Mari Crawford about her experience getting diagnosed with Bipolar disorder at 19. It won the Bounce Emerging Artist Award at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival as well as the award for Best Auto-Biographical One-Woman show at the United Solo Shows Off-Broadway festival. Through the story of struggling to accept her diagnosis and discovering the unhelpful and ignorant yet humorous societal perceptions of the disorder, Mari tries to create a way she can live with her new identity.
