THE PIT’S MARCH MADNESS IS BACK!!! The improv bracket-tournament showdown features teams going head-to-head in various games, forms and more!!
We’re looking for improv teams of all kinds–Harold, Musical, Short-form, Dramatic, Aliens in the Parking Lot, whatever your deal is! Submit now if you think your team has what it takes to go all the way!

The Peoples Improv Theater proudly announces NYC SOLOCOM’25!
SolocomNYC has launched over 400 new solo comedies that have gone on to longer runs, tours and festivals around the world (including the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.)
SolocomNYC is a festival of new solo work. All shows presented are 75% – 100% new material, and are created specifically for the festival. SOLOCOM’s goal is to push artists to create a show that is meaningful, personal and to follow the fear.

The Peoples Improv Theater is thrilled to announce the 13th Annual INDIE-pendence Day Fest, NYC’s longest-running indie improv festival! This festival brings together the best indie improv teams from around the world for an unforgettable 2-day celebration of community, creativity, and fun.
Join us for special guests, improv jams, and a barbecue picnic – all packed into a high-energy weekend that will put your team in front of an amazing audience! Shows will take place in three venues across The PIT campus!

The 11TH ANNUAL NYC Sketchfest’25, New York City’s premier sketch comedy festival and one of the nation’s largest! This year’s festival will run from Thursday, October 16th-Sunday October 19th.
NYC SKETCHFEST aims to showcase both local and national sketch teams, spanning from established favorites to emerging groups, fostering a union of sketch brilliance. Programming will include DIGITAL SKETCH HOURS, the 24 HOUR SKETCH SHOW and more!
