Power Sauce
Power Sauce (Stephen Gillikin, Wendy Natividad) will regale you with a novel yet timeless tale by stirring up a serving of some good ol’ fashioned long-form improv. Just toss in a suggestion, sit back, and behold the Power of Sauce! Stephen is an actor, improviser, and teaching artist, instructing both school-age students and adult learners in improv and theater classes. He’s the creator of Community Improv, which offers affordable and accessible workshops where players can build skills that can also be applied offstage for enriching the rest of one’s life and community. Wendy is a writer and performer who believes in the power of story to invoke transcendent and transformative moments of human connection. She’s a Co-Artistic Director and Inclusivity Board Member at The Pack Theater where she serves to curate inclusive programming that represents the best of comedy in Los Angeles. Every third Saturday of the month, Power Sauce is proud to host The Ledge Theatre’s Indie Night, a variety showcase of improv, sketch, poetry, and more from culturally diverse artists across LA. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit and LA’s first Black-owned comedy theatre, The Ledge strives to bring the voices of Black artists and underrepresented communities to the performing arts stage.
