Joy of Improv a.k.a. LEVEL FUN! All we want you to do is have fun! Fight off loneliness, find a community while, dipping your toe into the joyous pool of improvisation- 0% fear, 100% fun. This is the perfect place for absolute beginners to get acquainted with the art of long-form improvisation or those who want to tap back into why they first started doing Improv somewhere else. Every week you will play in a safe and nurturing class environment with group exercises, games and scene work. It’s the perfect spoonful of improv, come have a taste! Instructor
Lisa has been helping people find and share their story for more than twenty years. She is an improviser and storyteller originally from North Carolina. She studied performance at Appalachian State University and has twice been awarded National Board Certification.
Currently, Lisa is making final edits to her gothic memoir Burning Barbies. You can see her storytelling show Becoming a Noble Gas on Socially Distant Improv’s Instagram or several of her short films on the The Sequestered Film Festival’s website.
